2024 Acura ZDX
The 2024 Acura ZDX shares its name with the previous model, which was introduced in 2010. The ZDX was designed by Acura Design in Los Angeles. In fact, it was the first vehicle designed in the studio, which opened its doors in 2007. The car is expected to be built in GM’s Spring Hill, Tennessee assembly plant. It will be powered by a rear-mounted motor delivering 340HP to the rear wheels.
The new Acura ZDX is the brand’s first all-electric car, and will be offered with the sporty Type S variant. The car’s styling themes are based on the Precision EV Concept, which made its debut at the Monterey Car Week. However, designers are still working on the car’s final design before it is released.
The exterior of the new ZDX will be sportier than its predecessor. It will also feature a single panel integrating the infotainment screen and digital instrument cluster. It is expected to have a driving range of about 300 miles. The interior of the new ZDX is expected to be similar to that of the Acura Precision EV concept.
While there’s no official pricing information yet, Acura has hinted that the starting price of the 2024 Acura ZDX could be around $55,000. The type S version, which is likely to have a higher starting price, could cost up to $70,000. This price would put the vehicle in line with its competition.
Acura’s lineup is a shining example of the company’s technological advances. The 2024 Acura ZDX, for example, will feature a hybrid powertrain and a global e-architecture. It will also be the first electric vehicle in the brand’s history. It could be a hybrid super-SUV or a fully electric super-SUV. It will shake the industry.
Acura will continue to focus on performance in the electrified age. The Type S will be the pinnacle of this direction. The 2024 ZDX is expected to be even more stunning than the current Type S. The interior design of this electric vehicle pays homage to the company’s recent past while advancing into the future.
Acura is planning to make the new ZDX in the same California design center that created the original. It’s expected to be similar to the Precision, but may not have the coupe-like shape of the original. The new ZDX will be available in 2024, along with the Prologue and Blazer EV. Its battery-powered counterparts will be based on the same Ultium platform.
